Volunteer vacancy social media and website

Do you like hiking? Are you interested in nature and spirituality? And would you like to contribute to the online community of the Walk of Wisdom? We are looking for a volunteer who keeps track of our Facebook and Instagram. And for someone who offers support in keeping our website up to date. A combination of these activities is of course also possible in consultation.
What will you do?
It mainly concerns support for executive activities. But thinking along is always welcome! We assume that volunteers are active with us a maximum of one day a week.
For Facebook and Instagram
- Independently create and post 1 to 2 posts per week on both Facebook and Instagram
- Answering reactions, if necessary or desirable in consultation with the coordinator
- Monitoring the response; Keeping track of views etc.
- Feedback on progress and results to the coordinator
- Advising where possible on the implementation of online communication
- Coordinating the communication agenda with the coordinator
For the website
- Keeping the event calendar up to date in the content management system (WordPress)
- Adapting or possibly writing short, accompanying texts to the agenda
- Posting and sometimes composing news items, including use of the image bank
- Posting articles written by others
- Coordinating the communication agenda with the coordinator
Your profile
- You have experience with content and community management for Facebook / Instagram and websites (preferably also WordPress), preferably also for a professional organization
- You are used to working independently, but are also a strong communicator and enjoy being part of a team
- You have an affinity with pilgrimage, spirituality, etc.
- You know the surroundings of the route well and preferably also the route itself
- You live near Nijmegen or are willing to attend a meeting regularly. Although online is also very important for the Walk of Wisdom , we attach great importance to real encounters, personal contact and feeling with the tangible reality of route, region and organization
What we offer
- A great opportunity to contribute to people’s reflection and connection with themselves, each other and nature
- A pleasant, inspiring organization where content is central and personal contact is important
- A team with fun and committed people
- Regular meetings with other volunteers
- Lots of freedom and space to organize your work yourself
