Toos, the oldest volunteer of the Walk of Walk of Wisdom

This is the oldest and youngest volunteer of the Walk of Wisdom.

It is always a lot of work to have all the starter kits ready for the pilgrims to send and we do that with a lot of volunteers.

One makes the laces, the other prepares the small packages and the booklets are also filled and put in the envelopes.

Unfortunately, due to the corona restrictions, we can no longer all sit together at the big table, chat and pack. The pilgrims keep coming and now volunteers are taking it home.

That’s how pilgrim/volunteer Anja Strik came up with the idea of packing packages with her mother Toos. And as it turns out, she really enjoys doing it. She is also involved in the Walk of Wisdom. We are happy, she is happy and what an initiative at her 93rd year. What a beautiful picture Anja took of her mother.
