Stevenskerk open again!
Our starting and ending point, the Stevenskerk, is open again. Pilgrims receive a cup of coffee or tea upon arrival if they are registered in the pilgrim logbook by administrator Rens. The book is starting to fill up with departure and arrival dates of pilgrims and their first reactions upon return.
Our icon Pilgrim is now screwed to the wall: you can see it on the left immediately upon entering. The icon was designed by Huub and Adelheid Kortekaas and symbolizes man as a seedling of the earth that blossoms in connection with its environment. The 2.22 meter high statue was made for us for a reasonable price in steel by Tim RVS Design from Oosterhout.
