Silent walk on Sunday 3 September with the theme ‘Inner Peace’

The Walk of Wisdom in a year-round

‘Inner peace’. That is the theme of the fifth guided silent walk. Sunday, September 3 at 10:30 a.m., this walk from Malden starts in a series of ten: the Walk of Wisdom in a year round. The route goes over about 15 kilometers of the Walk of Walk of Wisdom and ends in Nederasselt.

The walk is in silence with the exception of the breaks. Patricia Akkermans of the Dankh naturopathy practice and Lidy van Lie Peters will guide the walk and introduce the theme.

Patricia explains the choice for this theme: “My starting point is to be able to experience inner peace in everything that occurs in my life. To surrender to life and to accept everything to which I am called, sometimes unwillingly.

Experiencing inner peace or inner peace also gives me a sense of freedom to dare to live life to the fullest without fear of it. Sometimes I am allowed short and longer moments in which I can feel this.

In this month of September, world peace is once again in the spotlight for another week. In my opinion, we can only achieve this world peace if we first experience inner peace ourselves.”
