Silent walk on Sunday 2 July with the theme ‘On the road’

The Walk of Wisdom in a year-round

‘On the road’. That is the theme of the fourth guided silent walk. Each of us has our thoughts and feelings about ‘going on the road’. During the walk, we share a number of perspectives. In the ritual it is an important step to say goodbye to what has been and to make room for what is to come. 

On Sunday 2 July at 11.00 a.m., the fourth walk from Plasmolen will start in a series of ten: the Walk of Wisdom in a year. The route goes over about 15 kilometers of the Walk of Wisdom.

The walk is partly in silence and partly in mutual exchange. Board member Hans Peerden and Lidy van Lie Peters will guide the walk. 

Meet in Plasmolen

We meet at 11:00 am at restaurant Den Tol, Rijksweg 201, Plasmolen. Bus 83 to Venlo departs from NS Nijmegen at 10:28 am and arrives in Plasmolen at 10:56 am. We will probably be on the road for five hours, and then we can take bus 83 back to Nijmegen. 

There will be a joint closing with a drink for those who want.

Participation is free for volunteers and sponsors (‘angels’) of the Walk of Wisdom. For others there is a contribution of 10 Euro, of which 1 Euro for the landscape and the rest for the Walk of Wisdom. 

Bring some food and drinks to share and a valid OV-chipkaart for the bus.
