Silent walk 7 May: theme ‘security’

The theme for the second silent walk is well-known: security.
On Sunday 7 May at 10.45 a.m. from Beek, the second silent walk in a series of ten: the Walk of Wisdom in a year. The route goes over 14 kilometers of the Walk of Wisdom and is in the beginning quite a climb and descent according to Dutch standards.
The walk is in silence and the theme is security. Every person needs security in order to grow. Where can you find them? Pioneer Damiaan Messing takes you to two places on the route that are ‘sacred’ to him: places that he feels are whole, that are right, that carry a sense of security.
The starting point is the Holy Spirit cemetery in Beek, the end point is café Niederrein in Kranenburg. Participation is free for volunteers and sponsors (‘angels’) of the Walk of Wisdom. For others there is a contribution of 10 Euro, of which 1 Euro for the landscape and the rest for the Walk of Wisdom.
Bring something to eat and drink to share and a valid public transport annual pass for the bus back to Beek or Nijmegen (bus 58). Second supervisor: Manja Bente.
