Set-up of the Summer Pilgrimage sponsored run has changed slightly

We get sympathy for our Summer Pilgrimage sponsor run for nature and landscape projects along the route, but also signals that pilgrims do not want to dedicate their entire Walk of Wisdom to it. We are therefore postponing a few projects to next year and are going to organize concrete walking days for various projects in July, August and September. It is then easier to participate for both non-pilgrims and pilgrims who have already walked the route.

Those who participate in this (short) Summer Pilgrimage will receive a bird ring with ‘WoW sponsor run 2016’ on it. We are planning the dates now, more coming soon!
