Senior Pilgrim

Piet Muller from Malden, 87 years old, completed his ‘walk of wisdom’ this week. He was presented with the last bird ring by Marijke Hautvast, the volunteer on duty at the Stevens Church. He was also written out in the pilgrim’s logbook.

Piet now has the right to submit a page for the second edition of Seasons of Life, our contemporary book of hours and pilgrims. The first edition was published on 21 June by Intermedi-Art Kunstzaken with pages from our symbolic predecessors, among others. The next edition consists of a selection of pages submitted by pilgrims. The pages are about an experience that still inspires or at least has made a little ‘wiser’.
