See the sun! Dew trapping after a contemplation in the Stevenskerk

Saturday 1 June is our earliest pilgrimage lauds of the year: See the sun! Wake up together with the birds and come to the quietly deserted Stevens Church in the soft light of the morning twilight to listen to a story from our Book of Hours and Pilgrims Seasons of Life. Reader is Manja Bente:

“I have chosen a text from the Book of Hours by the Muslim woman Leyla Cakir: God is Love. I think that’s fitting in this month of Ramadan. I am a lecturer in Nursing at an R.O.C. in Utrecht where many students participate. I think it’s great that they do this, just don’t drink for a whole day! I think it’s great that they are more aware of life and the divine for a month. They reflect on world hunger and give money to the poor.”

Pilgrims who leave this morning will be escorted out over the first 700 meters of the route after the reflection in the Stevenskerk. Start: 05.34h. End: 05.50h. Free. Welcome! Meer.
