Saturday is our pilgrim lauds again

This Saturday is our reflection at sunrise again: the pilgrim lauds. Pioneer Damiaan Messing reads a contribution by Thomas Verbogt on ‘generosity’. He wrote this book Seasons of Life for our contemporary book of hours and pilgrims.

The meeting starts at 08.25h in the Stevens Church in Nijmegen and lasts fifteen minutes. Registration is not necessary and participation is free, but be on time: the door will not open again.

The pilgrim lauden is held every first Saturday of the month for reflection for departing pilgrims or residents of Nijmegen. During the pilgrim’s lauds, silence is observed, with the exception of a short welcome by the Stevenspedel, who accompanies the lauds, and a halfway lecture by the reader on duty.
