Saturday 22 June 10.30 a.m.: litter picks and brownies

On Saturday 22 June, at 10.30 am, we will clear the last kilometres of our pioneer route of litter and then have a picnic together on the Waal beaches. For our fourth anniversary, we treat ourselves to homemade, oven-fresh – vegan – brownies and for the picnic it’s ‘potluck’: everyone brings something to share.

The meeting point is B&B boat Opoe Sientje. Here we drink coffee/tea and munch on the brownies. Then we walk via the Waalkade to the Spoorbrug (“Snelbinder”) to make the last kilometers of the Walk of Wisdom free of waste and also the beaches around it.
