Route changes – pay attention!

On Saturday, December 14, our markers made a few route changes. They follow the latest – 8th – edition of the route guide.

What does this mean for me as a pilgrim?
Check the front of your route guide to see which edition you have. Each edition is still good to use: these are only small changes! For each edition, we have listed the changes in the latest route news. Tip: follow the markings: they are according to the latest edition.

Why these changes?
Thanks to the changes, the percentage of asphalt on our route will continue to decrease. Moreover, we avoid a mountain bike trail.

Remarkable
The Walk of Wisdom is now 147 kilometers instead of 136 kilometers. This is partly due to the route changes. In another part because we have measured the route again. It turned out that our route is longer than we thought. In total, there are now eleven kilometers more. Delicious: the crazy number…!
