Walk of Wisdom

From 12 to 17 October 2015 I walked, together with my wife, the Walk of Wisdom. A walk you won’t soon forget. Perhaps it is better to walk this tour in the spring, however, now we walked this tour in peace. And that’s what we wanted. Away from the hustle and bustle we both have with our volunteer work.

I enjoyed the woods and the surroundings. I enjoyed meeting other people, mostly just the people we were staying with. It was a good idea to divide this tour into six stages. We experienced everything nature has to offer this week. A hot day, a very cold day and also days with rain. But nothing could stop us from completing this journey. Through the monuments, which we encountered along the way, it became clear again that freedom is a great thing. To stop and think of those who fought for our freedom. That we can enjoy what mother earth has to offer us in peace. Have I become wiser?

Yes, in the sense that I need to be more confident. It is up to humans to deal with this properly. Trying to be positive in life. To approach things positively. Whether or not that works depends on the person himself.
