What is included in the starter package?
Pilgrim: a pin with the symbol of our route in 99mm steel. Pelgrim was designed by the artists’ duo Huub and Adelheid Kortekaas and also comes back as route marking.
Pilgrim lace: a shoelace that serves as a charm band. To this the pilgrim collects bird rings from 11 municipalities along the route. The collection addresses are in the route guide. On the lace is already one metal bird ring with the unique registration number of the pilgrim. The lace is made of corque.
Route guide (in English): a compact route guide with 34 detailed maps, point-by-step description, addresses of stopping places and a part of the sleeping places. The registration confirmation email contains the complete list of 10 pages of sleeping addresses for each budget. The pilgrim does not receive this email – so forward it later. We do advise to mail our volunteers you want the English edition, see mail after subscription.
Expansion option: Seasons of Life ( Seizoenen van het Leven), a Dutch contemporary book of hours and pilgrims with pilgrim discount for € 18.50 (including extra postage) instead of € 19.90. Note: not available at the Flemish society in Mechelen!
GPS: the GPS track is in the confirmation email, in case the pilgrim has such a device.
