Preview route change for waste action 16 November
Join our litter pick-up campaign on Saturday afternoon, November 16. You will immediately receive a preview of a small, but beautiful route change that we will introduce as of December 14. And soup at one of the most beautiful guest addresses on our route: the bakehouse of Machteld Meij and Ronald Baksteen.
Many pilgrims tell us how beautiful they find the route. With the exception of that ugly piece of asphalt between Malden and the Hatertse Vennen. There is also a lot of litter on that stretch. We have doubly good news:
(1) You can clean up that waste with us on Saturday 16 November at 13:30h.
(2) On December 14 we will change the route so that the ugly part is shortened considerably. During the action on 16 November, you will get a preview of this: we will be jabbing via the new part of the route.
Details litter action and preview
- Meet: 13:30h bus stop Union Sports Fields Malden.
- Please note that we will not be back at the bus stop. Therefore, take bus 83 to Venlo at Nijmegen cs at 1.12 pm. It stops at Union.
- Closing: soup and bread around 15:30h/16:00h at Machteld and Ronald at the Heideweg 10a in Overasselt.
- Return via bus from Parkweg/Sint Walrick in the direction of Central Station.
- Sign up with a free ticket below. Then Machteld knows how much soup she has to prepare!
Directions details
We will not implement the route change until 14 December. Our markers will then get to work on the route. The route guide can also be used. It’s only a small part and on December 14 we will update the latest route news on it. Always follow the markings in the field. This one goes according to the latest version of our route!
