Taster day pilgrimage route Walk of Wisdom

Initiation to make a Pilgrimage

Under the motto Who am I and what is my contribution to the world?, the Han Fortmann Center will give a preview day for walking the Walk of Wisdom on Saturday 16 April from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.

We start in the Stevenskerk Nijmegen. Damiaan Messing, initiator of the Walk-of-wisdom, introduces the day. Afterwards, Ted van Rijt gives some suggestions for the conversation and reflection along the way. We take a walk of about 12 kilometers and follow the pilgrimage route. On the way we have lunch in Oortjeshekken. Later we will go back to the Stevenskerk in a different way and end there with an exchange and a drink.

Three teachers from the HFC walk along ‘incognito, but in function’ and guide the potential pilgrims. They are: Career counselor, coach and sufi Jacques van Hees, Mindfulness trainer Ted van Rijt and Zen teacher-coach Dick Verstegen. They help the participants as unnoticed as possible to answer the pressing Theme Question: ‘Who am I and what is my contribution to the world?’
