Philosopher’s bench placed and fully used

Our Philosopher’s Bench has been placed on the Waldgraaf in Groesbeek and has been approved by experiment! The bench is located at one of the most beautiful points of the route. You can move the backrests, so that you sit next to each other, for example, but look in the opposite direction. Symbol for a good conversation from different perspectives, while still being connected to each other.

The bench was conceived and executed by the Nijmegen carpenter Tejo Zwanenburg, who is also a host family of the Walk of Wisdom . Thanks to the Lamers family, on whose land we were allowed to place the bench. The bench was paid for with money we saved during our first series of silent walks: the Walk of Wisdom in a year. Meer.

On the bench are the four words: WHO – WE – WHERE – ARE. We have already found several satisfied couch sitters.
