Peace vigil in Valkhof Chapel takes shape

We have now found an organization for five of the eight evenings/nights that takes responsibility for the vigil around the world peace flame in the Valkhof Chapel in Nijmegen. The vigil is during the national peace week from 19 to 27 September. We are still looking for organisations for Sunday 20 September (17.00-11.00), Thursday 24 September (17.00-11.00) and Saturday 26 September (17.00-11.00).

The program of the peace vigil until now: meditation relay by the Buddhist groups Jewel Heart and Rigpa organize on Saturday, September 19 and Friday, September 25. Refugee evening by the Gast foundation on Monday 21 September with Syria as the main theme. Inner peace workshop by Willem Kienhuis of Tai Chi Nijmegen on Tuesday 22 September. Peace reflection by Pax Nederland and music improvisation with Zwaan de Vries and Niek Edeling on Wednesday 23 September. Furthermore, Anja Strik of the Sixth Happiness will provide a continuous meditation on Monday afternoon 21 September from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm. Details to follow!
