One photo that tells (something of it) everything: the route camera

Dit-geeft-zin.jpg

The Walk of Wisdom has received a route camera as a gift from ditgeeftzin.nl on which pilgrims can leave one photo that symbolizes a theme or important feeling during the route. The route camera is the mascot for a new use on the walk of wisdom: we invite all pilgrims to use their camera in this way.

Take a selfie before and after departure, as city poet Frouke Arns advises in her ‘little guide for the modern pilgrim‘ and turn off your phone in the meantime. But turn on your camera when you calmly, grope and wait, see a moment that symbolizes your pilgrimage for you.

Afterwards you can send your photo with a short explanation to [email protected]. Only the photos taken with the ‘real’ route camera will be published on the website of ditgevenzin. The others will be on the site of the walk of wisdom. The route camera was first handed over by inventor Thomas Hontelez to the pioneer of the Walk of Wisdom Damiaan Messing.
