Odd jobs on the Walk of Wisdom: NL does (15-16-17 March)

There are four jobs open on our route during the national volunteer campaign NL doet:

  • Friday 15 March: Dijkmagazijn Beuningen. One of our stops where we recently got a real ‘letter tree’. Between 09:30 and 16:00 you can help with painting, carrying bicycle racks and benches or weaving willow branches for the terrace. Good to combine with an hour of strolling along the Waal: Meer.
  • Saturday 16 March: nature foundation Kadans Nederasselt. Beautiful small nature reserve just before you cross the bridge to Grave and after the Maria chapel halfway along the route. They will pollard willows and remove overshoot to keep the area open between 09:00 and 15:00. Soup will be provided! Meer.
  • Saturday 16 March: Residential care farm de Hagert in Leur. Monumental farm with beautiful avenue of trees and (vegetable) gardens where people with intellectual disabilities have a beautiful home. Between 10:00 and 16:00 , a forest park and an experience garden will be created. Food and drinks will be provided. Meer.
  • Saturday 16 March: Natuurmonumenten Jachtslot Mookerheide. Between 10:00 and 16:00, the work shed will be refurbished, which will be used by volunteers of Natuurmonumenten and clients of Driestroom. The Hunting Lodge is also one of our stops.
