New: birdhouse for rings at Tabaksplant (Druten)

Pilgrims who walk our ‘path of your own wisdom’ collect a bird ring with the name of the municipality on it in each municipality. The eleven rings together are proof that you have walked the entire route. We have two stops in each municipality where you can pick up the rings, but what do you do if that place is closed?

Jam jars. That is the solution of Dijkmagazijn Beuningen and farm terrace de Loonsche Schuur (municipality of Oss): a jam jar from which you can get a ring. Café-cafeteria Tabaksplant has had an original variant for a few weeks now: a birdhouse. The cottage hangs to the side of the property, at the entrance to the miniature golf course. Nice: the house was made by a boy of about ten years old and was bought at the flea market on King’s Day.
