Making room for something new – theme silent walk 7 January
“Winter is the night of the year. The earth is seemingly dormant and sleep can be seen as the little death. Forces of renewal and purification are at work autonomously.”
Jaap Voigt.
On Sunday 7 January at 11.00 am the eighth silent walk in the series of ten “the Walk of Wisdom in a year around” begins. The guidance is in the hands of Ineke Schaper, trainer and walking coach on, among other things, the Pad, a long walking route along the Waal. The Path runs partly parallel to the Walk of Wisdom.
Ineke chose the theme: “making room for something new.” Before and during the walk, she will read a number of short texts. The walk itself is in silence, with the exception of the breaks.
