Pilgrims Walk of Wisdom contribute €555 to the landscape
From every donation for our starter packs, we save €1 to give back to the landscape of the route: our landscape contribution. At the end of December, we were able to transfer €555 to Natuurmonumenten out of gratitude for the beautiful nature of the Sint Jansberg and Heumensoord. We hope to contribute to the preservation of the beautiful landscape.
Our foundation manages a pilgrimage route of around 140 kilometers around Nijmegen. Almost 3,000 pilgrims a year walk this route to reflect on their lives. The route is independent of a religion and is based on the connection between people and with nature. Pilgrims decide for themselves how they fill in their journey. Through the landscape contribution, their reflection makes a concrete contribution to the environment of which they are a part for a while.
