I’m going on a trip

“Hi, I’m going on a trip.
I’m going super far away.
And everyone who’s going to miss me
is very unlucky.”

I’ve been on the road for 5 days now, alone, with all my luggage with me. Tent, sleeping gear, clothes and food. And a notebook to write in, a camera for pictures and already in my head many beautiful memories of the past few days.

Being able to meet very nice people with beautiful stories, happy people, helpful people, surprised people…

And wow, what a beautiful nature, this is really enjoying and getting some rest. Forests, heathland, meadows, streams, rivers, dikes… everything passes by.

I can’t really describe what I’m feeling and experiencing right now, but it’s more than okay, rather great (despite being physically quite cooked).

The last 20 km, quiet in two days, then this fantastic trip is over. Only 2 more days for myself and my thoughts, what a very nice trip.

Inspired by the website ditgeeftzin.nl , a route camera is circulating on which pilgrims can leave one photo of a place or situation that symbolizes something important to them, e.g. a theme or feeling. Read more.
