Guest in an 18th century monastery: storytelling afternoon 27 October
On Saturday afternoon, October 27, we will be guests in an 18th century monastery for our story and inspiration afternoon for pilgrims who have completed the Walk of Wisdom : the former Capuchin monastery in Velp (N-Br.). If you want, you can also spend the night there.
Click here for more information about the day.
The monastery is managed by Avant Spirit, which organizes various activities around meditation and awareness. Pilgrims from the Walk of Wisdom or the Jacobs Society can spend the night there at a discount. You can also relax there for several days in a row.
The monastery has, among other things, a beautiful, well-maintained old refectory, a large monastery garden and a water (a “wheel” – an old dike breach) where you can stare into the distance for hours without getting lost.
