Diversion in Reichswald due to fallen trees

In the Reichswald (route map 11) there are still many fallen trees at the Freudenberg. The trees have been there since the beginning of this year, but we do not expect them to be cleared away any time soon. Follow the detour below if you don’t feel like scrambling (quite adventurous, by the way).

(1) On route map 11 at point 1 you go straight ahead at the intersection (posts 98C and 63C) (instead of turning right)
(2) ignore exits until you reach an asphalt road (Karterspielerweg). Turn right here.
(3) Turn left at the first intersection. You will then be at point 3 of the original itinerary where you cross the road.
