Litter picking connects people from all walks of life: walkers or not. More and more people are cleaning up a part of the Netherlands on their own and sign up for a free litter package via Nederland Schoon (link). Many municipalities even provide free litter grabbers (Google free litter grabber and your municipality).

We want to take a few special steps on September 18 at 10:00 a.m., no less than 136 real green kilometers. Together with pilgrims, host families, volunteers and sympathizers, we want to pick up litter on and around our 136-kilometre route. This makes the connection between man and nature beautifully visible and allows us to maintain the beautiful landscape around Nijmegen. Will you join us?

Our route has the shape of a pigeon, which we would like to set in motion that day. We are therefore looking for several meeting points along the route. Mail [email protected].

In Nijmegen, Beuningen, Berg en Dal, Druten, Heumen and Mook-Molenhoek you can get a free litter grabber and bags or gloves via Dar Wijkhelden: link.
