Artist duo Huub and Adelheid Kortekaas
Huub and Adelheid Kortekaas are visual artist and designer of the icon of the Walk of Wisdom Pilgrim. They are also developing a staging post on the pilgrimage route: the Anima Mundi.
Huub and Adelheid, together with Damiaan and Martijn, founded the Walk of Wisdom foundation . In order to clearly separate the different roles, Huub and Adelheid have stepped down from the board and will join a yet to be established Council of Wise Men that will provide the foundation with solicited and unsolicited advice.
They also write a page for the contemporary tidal and pilgrim book Seasons of Life, with which they have become symbolically forerunners of the pilgrims who from 31 July 2015 make a walk of wisdom with this book as a pilgrim’s passport.
An inspired artist duo in whose vision man is “a unique seedling of mother earth.” According to the artists, every human being has the desire to become who we are in our deepest essence. This makes us co-creators of reality.
