Summary

At the end of 2016, 1046 pilgrims were registered for a Walk of Wisdom, counting from the opening in June 2015.

The foundation had €22,477.50 in income. These came through the sale of starter packs and books of hours (€19,269.33) and through friend contributions, expense allowances and advertisements (€3,208.02).

The foundation had €23,030.35 in costs. Of this, €11,402.01 were purchase costs for the starter packages and €11,628.34 were organization costs. The largest organisational costs were the remuneration for pioneer Damiaan (€4,500) and the rent of office space (€1,350). Other high costs were website and telephony, copying costs, printing and postage, PR and volunteers.

The balance for 2016 amounts to a loss of €552.85. This means that the working capital of the foundation (balance of assets – debts) has been slightly reduced. The year 2016 ended with equity of €5,007.60.

Pioneer costs

There was not enough money to pay all of Pioneer Damien’s living and pioneering expenses. He paid for it from his own reserve. Because this has now run out, we are looking for support for 2017 through the friends campaign:
