Most funds did not believe in our “utopian” plan of a global pilgrimage route. Admittedly, it was somewhat ambitious. But thanks to many volunteers and friends, we still opened the first Walk of Wisdom in 2015: a pioneering route of roughly 140 kilometers around Nijmegen.
Meanwhile, more than 15,000 pilgrims registered. Our plan received a major regional award – the Gelderland Landscape Award – and a TV series on national television. Without subsidies, we get a lot done.

– Friend of wisdom from €15. Thanks to you, our foundation of 60 volunteers and two part-time coordinators can keep running.
– As far as we are concerned, starting at €50, you are a real angel. Where can you become one? Earthly benefits: you get the first chapter of our second book of tides as an e-book gift.
– Super sponsor: support us for three years with €333 per year. You get all the previous benefits plus a 33cm high steel sculpture of Pilgrim by Huub and Adelheid Kortekaas. It is not for sale in stores.
