23 April: inspiration day for pilgrims

Inspiration afternoon Walk of Wisdom
Saturday 23 April from 13.00 – 17.00 hrs. Villa Wylerberg, Beek Ubbergen. Participation: free.
The Walk of Wisdom was opened last June with a beautiful gathering in the Stevens Church. Maybe you were there? Almost 500 pilgrims have now set off and this group is growing steadily. We want to keep it that way. That is why we are organising an afternoon to think together about how we can make the route grow into an inspiring new tradition of reflection with global ambitions. That sounds big, that’s why we’re starting small. The central question for this meeting is:
What has inspired you and how can you inspire others?
During this afternoon we invite you to talk to others about experiences and experiences during the pilgrimage. What has it brought you and what have you encountered inside and outside yourself? This can be about personal insights, getting lost along the way, painful feet, lack of place to sleep and chance encounters.
The next step is how we can use the wisdom and experiences we have gained together to inspire others to walk the Walk of Wisdom as well. How nice would it be if there were always pilgrims on the Walk of Wisdom…
The afternoon is separate from the preparation day for a Walk of Wisdom by the Han Fortmann center on April 16. The preparation day is for people who are still going to run and want to prepare for this. The inspiration day is for those who have already walked and want to think about the future of the route.
