20 February: Visit emeritus prof. Ritual Studies Ronald Grimes
We receive a high-level visitor from Canada: Ronald Grimes , emeritus holder of the chair of Ritual Studies in Nijmegen, will come to Nijmegen on 19, 20 and 21 February to watch the development of the route.
Grimes wrote, among other things, the impressive “Deeply into the Bone” about how rituals rooted in one’s own body and life can contribute to a meaningful life. The idea of the ‘walk of wisdom’ arose from his ideas about ritual creativity. Grimes is still involved in the route as a consultant.
